Casper came to me when she was 4 years old after her previous owner could no longer keep her. She fitted into our family like she had always been there and best of all Sugar loved her, Sugar is also on this site. She is very small for a Boxer but definitely has the Boxer gentle nature. At the age of 8 years she got a mild ear infection which left her completely deaf. My vet was quite baffled as to why this happened. We taught her sign language and she understands. |

We immigrated from New Zealand to Australia in 2000 and brought the dogs
with us. It is much hotter over here and we spend a lot of time
keeping Casper out of the sun. Luckily for us we have a huge dam on
the property so Casper, Jack and Bonnie have their own swimming pool,
which they take themselves off to when they get too hot!!
Casper's favourite passtime is digging holes in the garden and chasing the
boys around the lawn on their bikes.
|
She loves it when visitors come as she annoys them by dropping things at
their feet or on their lap and waiting for them to give her a game of
'throw and fetch'. She won't give up no matter how many times she
retrieves.
Casper is now at the grand old age of 11 years. She suffered a very
mild Heart attack early this year [due to heat] but is still very very fit
and active and manages to keep up with 'Bonnie' the pup.
