We noticed Gemma advertised in a national newspaper and went to see her, her previous owners couldn't handle her and admittedly when we first saw her she leapt from one side of the room to the other to greet us, which gave us doubts as to whether we could handle her or not. After spending time with her we fell in love with her and have never looked back.
She is a joy to have, a brilliant house dog, excellent with kids and as daft as a brush, I have four children aged 17, 15, 13 and 5 and she knows exactly how far to go when playing with each child. She is as good as gold with the 5 year old, she sits and has her hair and nails done at the pretend beauty salon and also has pretend custard fed to her !!!
She will be 3 in July, she was about 9 months when we got her, she adores us and gets the same back from us. She gives us kisses and cuddles when we are having a cuddle she will interrupt us and stick her face in between ours along with a bit of slobber. We also need a bigger bed as she sleeps on the bed and it feels like a person lying next to me.
